Meters
The gas and electric meters are in the cupboards next to the front door.
The gas meter is in the lower cupboard.
The electric meter is in the top cupboard where you can also find the consumer unit (fuse box).
The gas can be switched off using the lever above the meter.
To access the electric meter there is a pole with a hook that you can use to open the cupboard door.
It may help to use a camera to take a photo of the meter if you need to provide a reading.
You may find that having a second person is easier than doing this single-handedly.
